Glen Tautges, AIF®

Financial Adviser

As an Accredited Investment Fiduciary®, Glen is focused on doing what is in his clients’ best interest at all times. He sees investment management as just one piece of every client’s larger financial puzzle and prefers to focus on each client’s overall financial picture. For Glen, financial planning is about helping people reflect on their goals and dreams, and then finding the right tools to help them get there.
Glen joined DeGraaf Financial in 2014, bringing with him 14 years of client service and charitable planning experience. Prior to DeGraaf, he served as director of philanthropic services at the Central Minnesota Community Foundation, which administers more than 600 charitable funds totaling more than $140 million. Glen is also an active member of the Central Minnesota Estate Planning Council and Leave a Legacy of Central Minnesota.
Glen understands that the first question most clients ask is whether they will have enough to meet their needs, but he knows that a successful plan helps people look beyond that to their dreams—and ultimately the legacy they want to leave behind.  Glen believes in guiding clients to and through retirement—whatever that looks like for them--whether it is travel and adventure, spending time with family and friends, supporting the next generation or their favorite causes, or leaving their community a better place when they are gone. Glen seeks to understand each client and help them meet their unique goals utilizing his investment knowledge, charitable and estate planning experience, and connections with local tax and legal professionals.
Glen is a 1996 graduate of Saint John's University, where he competed in NCAA Cross Country and Track (and he says he’s been meaning to get back into shape for 25 years now).  He enjoys sharing meals with friends, playing cards, traveling, and taking walks with his wife Jenny, who is a teacher in Sartell where they live.  Glen and Jenny have two children: William, a sophomore at the University of St. Thomas, and Annabelle, a junior at Sartell High School.

It is paramount for a successful partnership for Andy to understand a client's entire financial foundation, which is why he requires financial planning for his clients to help with investments, insurance, and other areas of need.

Outside of work, Andy spends his free time with his son Landon and daughter Addison by chasing them around to their sports teams or theater productions. He and his wife, Becky, enjoy traveling together and discovering the next best adventure. Andy served on the Duluth YMCA board for 10 years and as board chair and past chair for the final three. Jordan Walling

Financial Adviser and Manager of Operations

Jordan thrives on the ever-changing dynamics related to finances and planning as no two clients or financial situation is alike. Losing his mom at the age of nine has taught Jordan the importance to live in the here and now, while still being fiscally responsible for what lies ahead. Learning to enjoy the current day-to-day picture of life while recognizing the importance of planning for your future wisely, living within your means, and avoiding excessive debt has become his blueprint for the financial world.

Jordan has been a part of our team since 2019 with several years of experience in the banking, information technology, and sales industries. As manager of operations, Jordan is responsible for making sure everything is in order behind the scenes. His problem-solving skills, analytic thought process, and ability to find solutions outside of the box make him a strong addition to our investment team as he heads up our investment committee.

Jordan received his associate degree at Mesabi Range Community and Technical College before moving to Duluth to pursue his degree in business management from The College of Saint Scholastica where he met his wife, Taylor. Although Jordan is from Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and Taylor is from Cottage Grove, Minnesota, they decided to make the Twin Ports their permanent home.

As a die-hard fan of the Minnesota Vikings, Jordan is used to the difficulties of Minnesota sports but also loves his Boston Red Sox thanks in part to looking up to Nomar Garciaparra as a young athlete. When Jordan and Taylor are not running around trying to keep up with their boys, Greyson (4) and Everett (1), they can be found at one of their favorite concerts, outdoors taking in everything the Twin Ports has to offer, or active with their dogs Sadie (boxer) and Kona (lab). Other times you can find Jordan on a local softball diamond, getting in a round of golf, or enjoying all things Bulldog hockey with Greyson.
